Accurate ordering is a key metric in any grocery store's fresh departments. When I joined the team at Meijer, the stores were still using a paper binder to track invetory, estimate need, and order more product. This system led to inaccurate orders, and a lot of wasted time and products. Working closely with the product owner and the store ordering teams, I intereviewd the users, built features to integrate with their current processes, tested prototypes in real-world situations, and collaboated with the developement teams to deliver the product to the store team members.

To help the performance team at Crowe with their annual leadership meeting a tool was needed to create a conversation between the audience and their new leader. The tool we created connected to a server to let users answer questions on their mobile phones or computers and instantly see answers onscreen. The presentation view would dynamically create graphs and visuals as people responded. I was the technical director and developer of the team.

Communicating performance statistics to a team can be a dry process, an infographic can communicate much more effectively than a spreadsheet alone. To help their team create a monthly status report, we created a tool that they could drop an Excel file onto and it would automatically generate a pdf infographic. I built the application using Javascript and runs as a packaged desktop application.
